Sometimes it seems that just about anyone can do a remix of a song. Slap a generic beat over a repeating vocal and viola! Thank goodness for people like Alan Wilkis who brings a different approach to the well trod genre. We got to chat this week about bringing a songwriter’s approach to remixing, how he accidentally got started, as well as discussing his newest blog hit, the “Ambling Alp” remix.
