Did you catch The Shins on SNL this past weekend? It’s great to see Mercer back home with the band that made us all fans. Not that I’m not waiting anxiously for another Broken Bells LP, but after five years of not having The Shins, even wondering if he would return to the moniker, I’m elated to finally hear Port of Morrow.
James Mercer sat down with us for a chat about the past few years, parenthood, as well as if he considered breaking up the band.
